This year Poland is celebrating the 10th anniversary of being a member of the organization.

Poland's ties with the ESA have been developing since 1994 when the country signed a cooperation agreement on the peaceful use of outer space, and then joined the agency in November 2012.

To mark the anniversary, a two-day conference, entitled 10 Years in ESA: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, was held at the Ministry of Development and Technology in Warsaw, with the participation of scientists and officials from the Polish Space Agency and the European Space Agency.
